Senior Equipment and Skid Design Engineer
Location: Seraing, Belgium
Duration: Long-term contract

A global technology leader, renowned for its expertise in energy, defense, and industrial solutions is seeking a Senior Equipment and Skid Design Engineer to join its H2 Design team.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimize gas washing systems using CFD analysis, testing, and design improvements.
Guide 3D model development, ensuring process integration, manufacturing, and maintenance requirements.
Prepare technical specifications for pressure vessels and internal components (demisters, packings, baffles).
Review client specifications, analyze subcontractor proposals, and oversee engineering work.
Conduct inspections at manufacturing sites and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Your Profile

Degree in Process, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
10-15 years of experience in chemical, oil & gas, power, or heavy industry.
Expertise in gas washing technology (bubbling columns, scrubbers, coalescers).
Knowledge of hydrogen, oxygen, or strong base processes is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
English proficiency required; French is an asset.
