iO Associates is seeking a Systems Team Lead to work with a rapidly expanding technology company that is creating innovative energy storage solutions. With a vision to create the greenest battery on the market, the technology utilises pre-existing hardware in conjunction with astute engineering principles to significantly reduce the expenses and ecological impact of energy storage.

We are looking for a Systems Team Lead who will work with the systems team and business leaders to create new technologies and deliver prototype and pilot systems.

Required:

• Expertise in safety and performance analysis, process and systems engineering, and high pressure and high temperature systems for the oil and gas sector.
• Knowledge of the certification and quality assurance standards for these kinds of systems.
• The ability to manage projects, risks, costs, forecasts, and budgets together with an awareness of the installation, commissioning, operating documentation, and in-service support requirements for such systems.

Responsibilities:

• General design of the Alpha and Pilot Systems; safety analysis and integration; Alpha, Pilot, and Later Systems Certification Strategy.
• All system equipment, excluding those under the purview of the Engines Team Leader, including the compressed air system and store, heat store, heat exchangers, valves, plenums, pressure equipment, instrumentation, and overall control system, must be specified and sourced.
• System design, commissioning, installation, and in-service assistance (assisted by the Engines Team).
