Job title: Test & Validation Engineer
Salary: circa £45,000 DOE
Location: Coventry

iO are partnering with a market leader in high-end product development for industry specific purposes. Designing and developing safety critical equipment that must undergo extensive testing before it can go to market.

Hiring for a Test & Validation Engineer to join on a permanent basis, working on the current product line whilst working across the full life-cycle of the new generation of products that are at the beginning stage of development.

Responsibilities:

• Validating new products to agreed specification whilst contributing to the validation of existing products.
• Compile test results, generate test reports and failure reports.
• Liaise with other engineering disciplines when evaluating failures.
• Management and maintenance of test equipment.
• Provide feedback to development and manufacturing teams for product improvement purposes.

Key skills and experience:

• 4/5 years of experience in test or electronics engineering.
• Understanding of the full engineering life cycle.
• Hands on experience with lab equipment, oscilloscope, soldering station (0201, 0402), signal generators, frequency analysers.
• Ability to diagnose failed electronic assemblies.
