Test Analyst

Software Test Analyst| eDV Cleared | Cheltenham/ London | £75,000

Here at iO we are working with another of the UK's most exciting cyber and defence companies who have just successfully won new contracts and are on the lookout for a Test Analyst to join their growing team.

Our client seeks a meticulous and outcome-oriented individual to assess and implement testing protocols, ensuring product quality. Ideal candidates exhibit a passion for problem-solving, keen attention to detail, and possess deep expertise in software development and analytical abilities

Due to the sensitive nature of the projects/work you will be supporting, you will need to hold active eDV Clearance for this position.

The position will be fully on-site in their Gloucestershire office and offer a competitive salary of up to £75,000 plus generous benefits package including Company EV Car Scheme.

If you have experience with the following then this could be the position for you,

Qualifications:

• Possess a degree in Computer Science or IT, or hold an ISTQB Qualification

Experience:

• Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in test analysis.
• Identify products for software review.
• Define appropriate tests, including test data.
• Manage test data by documenting results and identifying flaws.
• Liaise with the software development team.
• Run diagnostic and system tests, presenting findings to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with development and validation teams.
• Eliminate redundant functions and components.
• Improve knowledge of business applications and user expectations.
• Implement industry standards and protocols.
• Design and develop test automation scripts.
• Collaborate with Test Analysts and Software Developers.
• Stay updated with industry developments.
