Position Summary: We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with a focus on Building Services to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in designing electrical systems for buildings, be well-versed in British standards and building regulations, and demonstrate a history of successfully managing projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and participate in the design and development of electrical systems for building projects, ensuring alignment with industry standards and client expectations.
  2. Manage electrical engineering projects from concept through to completion, including budget control, scheduling, and resource management, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  3. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting a collaborative and innovative environment.
  4. Liaise with clients to understand project goals, present technical solutions, and resolve any concerns, maintaining strong client relationships.
  5. Ensure all electrical designs and installations comply with applicable codes and regulations.
  6. Oversee quality assurance processes, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of design work through thorough reviews.
  7. Conduct site inspections and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth integration of electrical systems into overall project designs.
  8. Stay informed on emerging technologies and innovations within electrical engineering and building services, incorporating sustainable solutions where possible.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Electrical Building Services Engineering with relevant qualifications.
  • Proficient in software tools such as Office 365, Amtech (Trimble), Dialux, and Relux.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a creative and solutions-focused mindset.
  • Motivated and eager to continue professional growth.
  • A positive, team-oriented approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, BIM, and Revit is advantageous.
  • Experience across sectors such as retail, commercial, residential, healthcare, and custodial environments.
