Specialist (m/f/d) hardware development
Location: Germany, Remote Possible
Your responsibilities:
- Technical management of the hardware development team within the Electrics/Electronics department.
- Ensure sustainable knowledge buildup and professional development of (junior) hardware developers.
- Lead hardware development of control units for customer projects, from concept phase to series production.
- Implement E/E hardware requirements in component specifications with series suppliers.
- Participate actively in concept, schematic, and layout reviews and specify relevant test cases.
- Assess validation results for electrical and EMC test scopes.
- Act as the primary contact for hardware-related matters, maintaining close communication with system suppliers, customers, and management.
Your profile:
- Hold a degree in a technical field, preferably in electrical engineering.
- Possess a minimum of 4 years of practical experience in hardware development, with expertise in control unit development.
- Enjoy mentoring and promoting colleagues.
- Skilled in analyzing and evaluating customer requirements, as well as in design, construction, and test execution.
- Experienced in final commissioning and verification of prototypes.
- Knowledgeable in automotive processes, control unit development, and EMC topics.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English, Fluent German a positive but not a requirement.
