IT Security Consultant (m/f/d)

📍 Germany - REMOTE
💸 €90,000 - €130,000 (depending on experience)

Non-negotiable requirements: German language skills (native level), candidates must ALREADY be permanently residing in Germany.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced IT Security Consultant to join a team and support companies in optimizing their IT security architecture and technologies. In this role, you will analyze existing security infrastructures and advise on modern security solutions to secure networks, data centers/cloud environments, and end-user devices.

As part of a collaborative team, you will engage in multiple short-term projects (typically 1-3 months in duration. You will provide expert guidance on critical security topics such as zero trust, SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM, and cloud security (Microsoft Azure, AWS) while ensuring compliance with frameworks like ISO 27001 and NIS2.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct security assessments and benchmarking of IT security architectures.
Advise clients on zero trust strategies, SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM, and cloud security solutions.
Support organizations in compliance efforts, including ISO 27001 and NIS2 regulations.
Provide recommendations for securing networks, cloud environments, and endpoints.
Work collaboratively within a team on multiple short-term consulting engagements.
Stay up to date with evolving security trends and best practices.

Your Profile:

Native German speaker (mandatory).
Strong background in IT security consulting, with expertise in network, cloud, and endpoint security.
Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIS2.
Experience working on short-term projects and managing multiple engagements in parallel.
Ability to provide strategic security recommendations to clients.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
