Monday, Wednesday, Friday (8-4) & Tuesday, Thursday (6-2)

At iO Associates, we're excited to be recruiting for a Planned Maintenance Technician on behalf of a world-leading medical technology company. If you're experienced in maintaining advanced machinery and are passionate about continuous improvement, this is the role for you!

The Role
As the Planned Maintenance Technician, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of equipment by conducting scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) tasks. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out planned AM/PM tasks according to the maintenance schedule, ensuring optimal equipment availability.
- Collaborating with the Maintenance Planner to document tasks and plan ahead for upcoming work.
- Leading Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities to boost machinery performance.
- Attending plant shutdown periods to perform essential maintenance and rebuilds.
- Supporting the technical teams with troubleshooting and equipment optimisation.
- Mentoring unit staff on best repair methods and technical troubleshooting skills.

This is a dynamic role that requires flexibility, technical expertise, and a drive for continuous improvement.

About You
We're looking for a proactive and technically adept individual with:
- Level 3 qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics (or equivalent).
- 5+ years' experience in a fast-paced, automated manufacturing environment.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and experience working with advanced systems such as robotics and automation (a distinct advantage).
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for coaching and mentoring team members.
- Experience with both electrical and mechanical systems and a solid understanding of safety regulations.
