Systems Engineer - Aerospace Training Solutions



Your Role

  • Manage the application of the V-model for Ground-Based Training Systems (GBTS), ensuring alignment with established system engineering processes, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Define and refine system requirements and specifications by interpreting customer contracts, market demands, emerging technologies, and product lifecycle needs.
  • Design pilot and technician training products, with a primary focus on computer-based training (CBT) and e-learning management systems.
  • Coordinate technical activities across stakeholders, collaborating with hardware and software teams to design robust, testable, and verifiable system architectures.
  • Support system integration, installation, verification, validation (V&V), and through-life support in partnership with project management, quality teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Develop system breakdown structures and provide inputs for configuration management, including initiating change processes for configuration updates.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, including technical memos, system requirements, and design specifications, adhering to ISO 15288 standards.


Your Profile

  • Master's degree in Software, Electronic, or Aeronautical Engineering, specializing in complex systems.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Systems Engineer working on complex hardware/software systems, preferably in distributed e-learning within the aerospace sector.
  • Proficient in system engineering methodologies (e.g., ISO 15288) and tools such as DOORS (requirements management), Jira (Agile project management), Teamcenter (configuration management), and MS Office.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Capable of prioritizing and managing parallel activities under tight deadlines with a proactive, adaptable mindset.
  • Willingness to travel internationally when required.
