Engineering Team Lead

Are you an experienced Engineering Team Lead or Engineering Supervisor? Do you want to work at a highly automated, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility? Then this may be the job for you.

We have partnered with a Global Food Manufacturer based in Manchester who are looking for an Experience Engineering Team Lead to join their team. This is a really exciting opportunity to work with brand new high speed production machinery, and lead a talented team of engineers.

As the Engineering Team Lead, you will lead and inspire a team of Multi-Skilled Engineers to enhance manufacturing processes. Your expertise will ensure smooth, efficient and safe operations, contributing to the ongoing success of the site.

Responsibilities:

• Opportunity to develop and mentor team members, assign projects and conduct regular reviews.
• Implement the PPM strategy, ensuring the production machinery is well maintained.
• Report on important KPIs for the site.
• Foster strong communication between departments.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and promote adherence to standards within the engineering department during pre-shift meetings.
• Utilise CMMS for maintenance scheduling, data logging and follow-ups on work orders.
• Opportunity to drive innovation through continuous improvement projects.

We are looking for:

• 2 years experience in a leadership position within an engineering team.
• Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship Electrical/Mechanical or equivalent.
• 4+ years working within a FMCG manufacturing environment (food industry experience is desired).
• Driven and enthusiastic individual
• Right to work in the UK
