Position: Satellite AIT Electrical Systems Engineer

Pay rate: £50.00 p/h inside IR35.

location: Stevenage

Role Type: 12 Month contract with extension

IO Associates seeks a Satellite AIT Electrical Systems Engineer for the Stevange site. Join a global aerospace leader specializing in commercial and military aircraft, helicopters, defense, and space sectors. Responsibilities

• Design and perform electrical/functional tests on spacecraft subsystems (power, comms, data handling, AOCS).
• Write and execute electrical integration procedures and Automatic Test Procedures (ATP).
• Support environmental testing (TVAC, magnetic, EMC) and provide technical inputs during test reviews.
• Conduct spacecraft system investigations and ensure compliance with quality and security standards using DDMS.

Skills

• Electrical Engineering degree or 5+ years in spacecraft testing with hands-on experience writing/debugging test sequences (CCS) and knowledge of C/Java.
• Proficient in electrical measurement tools (DMM, oscilloscope, 1553 MilBus) and spacecraft subsystems (power, comms, FDIR).
• Familiar with Satellite TMTC databases and Windows/Linux OS.
