Your Role

As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will design and develop high-performance embedded systems for an innovative medical imaging platform. Working in a dynamic startup environment, you will collaborate with a talented, multinational team to create advanced healthcare solutions.

Your Responsibilities

Embedded Systems Development: Build and maintain a Linux-based runtime environment for high-performance signal and data processing.
System Optimization: Design a robust, high-throughput, low-latency connected embedded system.
Feature Implementation: Develop, document, and test new embedded software features using modern C++ methodologies.
Code Quality & Reviews: Ensure high software reliability through automated testing, code reviews, and continuous integration.
Collaboration: Work closely with hardware and software teams to shape the future of medical imaging.
Technology Stack: Utilize cutting-edge tools such as C++20, Yocto, GPGPU programming, CMake, Git, CI pipelines, Jira, and ALM tools.


Your Profile

Education & Experience: BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or related field, with 3+ years of experience in embedded software development.
Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in C++ for Linux development and Yocto for custom runtime environments.
Bonus Skills: Experience with Rust, GPGPU programming, and regulatory standards for medical software (ISO 62304) is a plus.
Problem-Solving Mindset: Hands-on, innovative approach to solving complex embedded system challenges.
Team Player: Strong work ethic, startup mindset, and willingness to mentor and collaborate.
Communication: Excellent English communication skills; German is a plus.
