Embedded System Engineer

Are you interested in working with a company who has expertise in robot-relevant fields and a deep understanding of complex systems. this could be for you. They are working with an adaptable software stack with product-ready functionalities, designed for a hardware-agnostic operating system-whether for cobots, industrial robots, or service robots, regardless of age or model.

End customers gain access to the latest technology features and intuitive, ready-to-use templates, making even complex industrial applications as easy to set up as using a smartphone. Additionally, third-party providers have the opportunity to develop their own customized application packages within the software. This innovation marks the next level of no-code programming for robots-where staying ahead is not just a goal, but the standard.

Your tasks

  • You work in software development and are jointly responsible for deployment in the embedded Linux environment
  • You adapt our embedded Linux to different platforms (currently we use Debian)
  • You develop in C/C++, both in the kernel and in user space
  • You find solutions for a variety of challenges in the field of development and integration and implement them
  • You configure and optimize the real-time behavior
  • You work with industrial fieldbuses/protocols (e.g. EtherCAT, CAN, OPC UA, TSN, ...)


Desired Skills

  • You feel comfortable and "at home" in the Linux environment
  • You program ("fluent to native speaker") C/C++
  • You are familiar with networks and their configuration
  • You have experience with industrial protocols
  • You are familiar with real time
