Mechanical Engineer Role iO Associates have partnered with a global company, who are leading the way in the medical device industry with their innovative use of robotics. We are looking for an experienced mechanical engineer for a permanent position at the company. The role is based in Bern, Switzerland and has a competitive salary. Skills and Experience required: -Bachelors in mechanical engineering or a similar mechanical degree -Ability to use CAD/PDM tools (preferably Solidworks in creating drawings according to ISO GP in carrying out analytical calculations -Successfully have completed development projects (concepts, drawings, manufacturing, assembly, functional tests) What will you be doing? -Design and development of components and systems for surgical instruments and robotic applications -Creating calculations and drawings and setting up robust manufacturing processes with our manufacturing partners -Conducting feasibility studies and producing functional models -Carrying out verification tests and transferring manufacturing to series production -Procurement and management of components and services within development -Implementing changes within the regulated medical environment Make sure you don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity by sending your CV
