Project Manager

You will oversee a variety of innovative and technically challenging projects, from satellite development to space instruments and mechanisms. These projects span all stages of the product lifecycle, including conceptual studies, design, testing of qualification models, and full integration and testing of flight hardware. You will also provide support for launch campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver space projects according to customer satisfaction, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain the project plan, schedule, risk register, and financial status to ensure successful delivery.
  • Lead cross-functional technical teams and subcontractors, ensuring that contractual obligations are met efficiently.
  • Communicate and report project progress internally and to customers, resolving any deviations or issues.
  • Manage project risks through identification, quantification, and mitigation strategies.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality deliveries.
  • Foster positive relationships with customers, partners, and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with resource managers to ensure appropriate staffing and support team development.

Profile:

  • Master's degree in an engineering or scientific field, with over 5 years of relevant project management experience.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies, budget, and resource management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, able to inspire teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English, with Dutch as a plus.
